Project Development: 

Continue 3D modeling your project. Project 2, 3D modeling, should be finished and finalized by June 4th, 12:00pm. Please upload your 3D model Rhino file to the Google Drive Student submissions folder. 

Blog Post: 

Please email me a link to your blog post by noon, that includes a link to Google Slides of the final presentation of Project 2.

Presentation:

 The presentation should include: 

  • Precedent research 
  • Concept Sketches including material choices
  • Project Development (screenshots and workflow)
  • A screenshot of your 3D object in Render mode of perspective viewport
  • A visualization of the object, at real scale, with 3D print contours (also screenshot in render mode.

Thing Tank:

Make two 3D printing appointments (consultation/work session & printing) as soon as possible between the dates of June 6 - 18.

This course is to equip first and second year bachelor level students with introduction to design thinking, 3D modeling and preliminary digital fabrication tools such as laser cutters and 3D printers.
